  • Little to no side effects
  • A focus on disease prevention
  • Treating your body as an interconnected whole
  • Taking your physical and emotional concerns into the treatment plan
  • Creating an individual treatment plan for you and your body
  • A safe and confidential space to go over health issues
  • Working with your body to stimulate your body’s ability to heal itself with proven, effective, tried and tested techniques

Traditional Acupuncture is among one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Treatments involve placing fine, sterile needles into specific acupoints on the body, along 14 main meridians. It is used to correct imbalances in the flow of your Qi or vital energy and it assists your body to open up and heal.

Acupuncture has been proven effective and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) for dozens of conditions, such as: Depression, Stroke, Morning Sickness, Labour Induction, Adverse Reactions to Chemotherapy/Radiotherapy, Arthritis, Menopause, Pain (knee, tennis elbow, sciatica, shoulder), Sprains, Migraines/headaches, Nausea/Vomitting and more.

Acupuncture unblocks obstructions, strengthens the body and assists the body’s own ability to heal itself from acute or chronic conditions.

Chinese Herbal Remedies are herbs that are home to China and can be taken orally or applied topically. Oral remedies can be taken as a tea, powered or tablet form. Topical remedies can be found in plasters, oils and lintaments.

Tui Na means “push” and “grab” in the Chinese language and is a traditional style of massage therapy. By using the Acupuncture meridians as a guide, various Tui Na techniques are administered. If one prefers a non-needling treatment, Nui Na offers an alternative approach. The benefits include the release of muscle tension, improved circulation and calming the central nervous system.

Cupping is an ancient technique using cups attached to the body. It draws out stagnation, promotes Qi and blood flow to the area and acts as a reverse massage to stimulate the body to heal itself and get rid of toxins.

Moxibustion is a form of direct or indirect heat therapy used in loose or pressed form. Moxibustion is often used in conjunction with acupuncture to promote the flow of qi and heat the various acupoints. It can however be used as a stand alone theapy for many deficiency conditions, Breech Baby presentation and more. Moxa is a form of therapy your Acupuncturist can teach you to do at home.

TDP Heat Lamp is a form of non contact heat therapy used to heat the skin, muscles and acupoints. In China, people refer to the TDP heat lamp as the “miracle lamp” due to it’s incredible success in treating chronic ailments.
